Abdul Karimjee
Senior Adviser
Abdul spent 18 years working for the RBS Group, having started his career there as a customer adviser, then a trainer and most recently a mortgage adviser. Abdul left RBS in 2019 and after a short spell at Quilter Wealth Management, joined the Altura team in June 2022. Abdul also owns an accountancy firm, and specialises in working with self-employed business owners, high net worth clients and day rate contractors, those people who are often out of the norm in terms of acquiring a mortgage.
Work
Away from the office, Abdul is a member of the local mosque and spends a lot of his time organising charity events. His wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2019, and such an event opened his eyes on how short life is, his time is now devoted to his family and can be regularly found on the school run!
